AIMPLAS to be European venue for 2022 AIMCAL R2R conference on 7-9 June
AIMPLAS will be the venue for the upcoming edition of the AIMCAL R2R (Roll-to-Roll) Europe Conference, which will be held on 7-9 June. Organized by the Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators in collaboration with AIMPLAS, the conference will be held for the first time in Spain and will be similar to events AIMCAL organizes annually in North America and Asia.
This AIMCAL Europe conference will include the participation of twenty experts, who will share good practices and innovations in coatings, gravure printing, laminating, oriented and barrier films, and printed electronics.
On 7 June, two short courses will be held and attendee registration, reception and exhibition of sponsors will also take place, not to mention the tour of the AIMPLAS facilities. There will be several opportunities for networking throughout the day and for viewing the new products presented in the areas reserved for exhibiting companies.
On 8-9 June, attendees will enjoy more than twenty talks organized in three main sessions: flexible printed electronics, the challenges and sustainability of flexible packaging, and coatings, laminating and treatments. The presentation by Joaquín Castán, an AIMPLAS engineering researcher, will be on printed electronics, and AIMPLAS mechanical recycling researcher Vicent Martínez will discuss the challenges and strategies for recycled plastics in circular flexible packaging.
AIMCAL chose to collaborate with AIMPLAS on its European conference because AIMPLAS is a benchmark plastics technology centre and has extensive expertise in the development of R&D projects and organizing technical seminars. For AIMPLAS, this event will help consolidate its international scope in Europe and the world.
