INMAPLESP
Incorporation of insecticides and repellents in plastic matrixes to obtain foamed materials
Objectives
This project was born with the idea of complementing and increasing the existing knowledge about adding insecticides to plastic materials in order to convert them into a specific instrument that can combat vector-borne diseases such as chagas, malaria, dengue and leishmaniosis. The ultimate goal pursued by this project is to develop a technology capable of obtaining new products for protecting people and controlling mosquitoes and other vector insects
Description
The consortium is made up of organisations that aim to define, formulate, integrate, test and design large-scale manufacturing of a new microencapsulated solution that can the active ingredients used from the thermal and chemical aggressions involved in additivation and foaming during plastic processing.
