This project was born with the idea of complementing and increasing the existing knowledge about the incorporation of insecticides in plastic materials in order to turn them into a specific instrument contributing to combat vector-borne diseases such as chagas, malaria, dengue and leishmaniosis. The ultimate goal pursued by this project is to develop a technology capable of obtaining new products for protecting people and controlling mosquitoes and other vector insects.
The consortium is formed by entities capable of defining, formulating, integrating, testing and designing the large-scale manufacturing of a new microencapsulated able to protect actives from thermal and chemical aggressions of the plastics processing for its additivation and foaming.
