Workshop on energy efficiency in the automotive sector in Bologna
One of the main challenges in the automotive industry is increasing the range of vehicles and the distance that vehicles can travel without needing to charge batteries. In order to give an answer to these needs by means of innovation, the 38 partners from three EU-funded projects (JOSPEL, OPTEMUS and XERIC) have organized a workshop to share their insights on the latest trends and technologies to improve energy efficiency in electric vehicles.
In this event, the attendees are learning first-hand what the European Commission is doing for electric mobility. They will also have a unique insight into the latest researches and innovations in energy management in electric vehicles.
This meeting represents also an opportunity to create a network of new contacts with other companies and experts of the sector, thanks to bilateral meetings that can be previously pre-booked. The three projects taking part in this event are:
- JOSPEL: low energy passenger comfort systems based on the joule and peltier effects.
- XERIC: innovative climate-control system to extend the range of electric vehicles and improve comfort.
- OPTEMUS: optimised energy management and use (holistic vehicle-occupant-centred approach)eviously pre-booked.
This one-day event will take place on November 24, 2016 in Bologna, Italy. Access to the event is FREE if you register. Online registration will start in June on a dedicated website. You’ll receive an email when registration opens.
