This event, addressed at professionals of the industry, was a showcase for companies that, in the field of Technology and Innovations related to composite materials, exhibited their products and solutions there. It is the only Spanish fair on this kind of materials.
Located at pavilions 2 and 4 of the IFEMA (Feria de Madrid), Composite Spain took place at the same time as Metalmadrid and Robomática. In this regard, it was an important showcase for the state of the art of the materials technology, automation and robotics.
Some of the most important attractions were the cycle of conferences and the area intended for the so-called ‘connected company’, as well as an area focused on the innovation in composites. Regarding the conferences, some of the topics that were discussed during the first day of the event were connected manufacturing, composites engineering and additive manufacturing. On the second day, topics such as agricultural and food, energy, aerospace, robotics and automotive engineering were addressed.
AIMPLAS was present at IFEMA and participated in a presentation too. Ana Isabel Crespo Soler, head of the Composites department of AIMPLAS, shared and analyzed with the attendees the latest innovations in the field of composites.
This presentation, which was given on 26 September at 11.30 am, went through the latest innovations in the field of composites. The main topics that were discussed were the search for new materials and features, and the factors that have led to them, as well as the future challenges and some of the latest developments in the field of plastronics and circular economy.
