Materials for fused deposition modelling are based mostly on virgin polymers like PLA (Polylactic Acid) and ABS (Acrylonitirle Butadiene Styrene). These polymers are very for prototype production but their properties may be insufficient for final product development. Polymers can be modified with different fillers to fulfill the final application requirements and functionalities.
