The Specialist Diploma in Polymer and Composite Material Processing (DEPMPC) is a university-accredited qualification taught by the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). 

The diploma offers specialist training that covers transformation processes for polymer and composite materials, product development and applications in different sectors of industry.

Our goal is to produce professionals who are capable of working in the plastics industry and to boost companiescompetitiveness and innovation.

Objectives

  • Becoming familiar with applications and trends in polymeric materials and products.
  • Learning different processing technologies and how to optimize them.
  • Acquiring practical experience with operations in companies in the plastics industry in terms of production, quality control and innovation by participating in internships.

Who is it aimed at?

  • Upper- and mid-level graduates in science and engineering.

Professionals who are working for industrial, commercial or service companies, have at least three yearsprofessional experience and can prove that they fulfil the legal requirements for accessing university postgraduate studies.

Programme

  • The 40 ECTS credits associated with this degree are divided into 220 hours of theoretical and practical learning (both face-to-face and distance learning) and 375 hours spent carrying out an internship at a company in the sector.

To obtain the degree, it is necessary to pass all corresponding modules.
