Objectives
The technological development of new advanced biocomposites made out of bioresins and natural fibres as an alternative to products currently manufactured from oil and fibreglass polymers
Description
The new biocomposites were initially used in the manufacturing and validation of the first prototypes in different sectors. The results obtained from these preliminary studies were the starting point for the use of new biomaterials in obtaining a demonstrator for micro-wind energy. This project led to the creation of a prototype blade for the mini wind-energy sector.
