Objectives
The MRFID project develops diagnostic technologies that enable the personalisation of medical treatments for prostate cancer.
Description
Advanced diagnostic imaging systems are developed by using markers embedded in smart and reabsorbable polymeric nanomaterials that improve tumour detection, increasing the efficiency of current therapies. The project enables treatments to be personalised and reduces the adverse effects of healthy tissue irradiation.
