R&D Projects
Objectives:
Development of a laminable water-based system for flexible food packaging, which is comparable to solvent-based systems in terms of qualitative properties (finishing, adherence, lamination, etc.), printability and machine processing (printing speed, energy consumption, etc.).
Description:
The project will 1) reduce VOC emissions in the flexible packaging industry. 2) Improve the working conditions of operators in printing companies. 3) Reduce energy consumption in the drying process of water-based inks. 4) Improve the adherence of water-based inks and eliminate the current lamination problems. 5) Improve printing speeds with water-based inks. 7) Guarantee the suitability and food safety of printed and laminated flexible packaging.
