To improve and adapt the characteristics of biodegradable and compostable materials, in order to provide a sustainable alternative for food packages.
1) Definition of opportunities and improvement needs of biodegradable materials for food packaging. 2) Validation of the improvement characteristics of biodegradable film, tray and bottle packaging. 3) Development of a sustainability report with the suggestions and improvements obtained, such as environmental impact, economic aspects and extended shelf life.
