More than 60 students participate in AIMPLAS online courses

The Plastics  Technology Centre, AIMPLAS, has prepared a large catalogue of online courseswhich already started in October. More than 60 professionals from different countries registered for these training programmes.

The Centre offers five online courses (with a training duration equivalent to 80 hours) in the following subject matters: Biomaterials, Extrusion, Composites, Injection Moulding and Plastic Materials.

Online Training  plasticsIt is worth stressing the participation of professionals coming from South American countries (23% in total) and the involvement of students from different Spanish autonomous communities.

The online format allows complete flexibility in terms of scheduling and from any place so that students can combine their course with other activities, removing geographic constraints and saving in travelling time and costs.

One of the main advantages of these courses is the closeness to tutors. Students can contact them in order to address questions and comment aspects about the course through not only the campus tools (chat, messages, virtual discussion groups) but also e-mail or telephone. These courses have been designed so that students can benefit from online formats flexibility but at the same time have a good relationship with the professor, as student-professor interaction brings fundamental added value.
